About the Project

Lisboa Games Week is one of the biggest gaming events in Portugal. For the 2024 edition, I collaborated with PewPew — the production company behind the stage — to develop the visual identity, motion graphics, and 3D stage design. This partnership continued into the 2025 edition.

The main challenge was creating a stage that could deliver a spectacular visual experience while being versatile enough for both CS2 competitions (the event’s core) and cosplay contests. Using 3D visualization, I was able to test and iterate on different stage concepts before committing to production.

This collaboration worked as a partnership: PewPew handled the physical production and I led the creative direction. Together we delivered a stage design that the client — Lisboa Games Week — was able to see and approve through detailed 3D mockups before a single piece was built.

Stage Design

I developed the stage concept in close collaboration with PewPew. The goal was a stage that felt immersive and dynamic for competitive gaming, but could quickly adapt for cosplay presentations and other segments of the event. 3D mockups allowed us to present multiple design options to the client and refine the final concept before production.

Motion Graphics

All motion content was designed to complement the stage — from transitions between segments to highlight reels and branded animations. Every piece followed the event’s visual language while keeping the energy high throughout the competition.

What I Did

  • Stage design and 3D visualization (mockups for client approval)
  • Motion graphics for event transitions and highlights
  • Graphic design for event communication
  • Creative direction in collaboration with PewPew
